A Glenkens based travel ‘app’ company, Epic Minds, has launched a free basic demonstration route that highlights historical points of interest along the A713, running through the heart of the Galloway Glens area, and therefore we flag it up to everyone who might be interested.
McNabb Laurie, Galloway Glens Development Officer, said
“If you download the free app onto your smartphone , the audio companion will highlight historic points of interest along the route from Castle Douglas to Carsphairn. An excellent idea from a great local company.”
Sarah Ade from Epic Minds added
“This is our first demonstration route and it has been a lot of fun pulling things together and working out what points of interest to include. We want people to be able to really get under the skin of an area when travelling and we’d love user’s feedback on our ‘Glenkens Gander’ route to help us develop other trails”
The ‘Epic Minds App’ is available to download for free from app stores. http://epicmindsapp.com.
