Development Officer Starts in Post

On 05 April 2016, McNabb Laurie, the Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership Scheme’s new Development Officer started in post.

McNabb’s first priorities are to organise and facilitate the first round of meetings of the working groups and the Partnership Board that oversees the scheme. The development stage of this project is expected to last for over a year, with McNabb’s role culminating with the submission of the stage 2 bid to Heritage Lottery Fund in the summer of 2017.

Having grown up in the region, McNabb is excited by the new role and looks forward to getting out and about to meet the people of the area to introduce the Scheme as widely as possible and discuss potential projects that connect people, communities and their heritage.
